Balloon-Powered Fun: 6ème Physics Students Learn About Forces

Today, our 6ème physics students had a blast learning about forces in a hands-on and exciting way. The class was tasked with designing and building their own balloon-powered vehicles. Using simple materials like balloons, straws, and tape, the students put their engineering skills to the test.

The goal was to create a vehicle that could travel the furthest distance using only the power of a balloon. After constructing their vehicles, the students gathered in the schoolyard to race their creations.

Through this fun and engaging activity, the students were able to understand the concept of forces, including thrust, drag, and gravity. They also learned about the importance of design and experimentation in the scientific process.
