Exploring Opportunities: Inside IBS's 10th Annual University Fair
On Wednesday, February 5, IBS hosted the highly anticipated 10th Annual University Fair, a pivotal event designed to support students in their academic journeys. The fair offered a unique opportunity for 3ème, 2nde, 1ère, and Terminale students, along with their parents, to engage with representatives from more than 70 universities around the world.
The event consisted of two key components. Students and parents had the opportunity to explore a variety of university options by visiting booths and engaging directly with university representatives. Through interactive discussions and one-on-one meetings with admissions officers, students gained valuable insights into university life, the admissions process, and career prospects. In addition, presentations and panel discussions were held in the amphitheater, addressing essential topics such as the U.S. university application process, selecting business schools in France, studying in the UK, and understanding cultural perspectives from institutions around the world. These panel discussions featured experts from various universities, who provided valuable advice and answered students’ questions about higher education pathways.
A Global Academic Gathering
This year’s fair welcomed an impressive selection of universities from around the world, offering a diverse range of study opportunities. Notable institutions included prestigious universities from the United Kingdom, such as the University of Cambridge, King’s College London, University College London (UCL), University of Edinburgh, University of St Andrews, University of Warwick, and Durham University. France was represented by institutions like CentraleSupélec, ESCP Business School, EDHEC, KEDGE Business School, and ESSEC. From the United States and Canada, universities such as Fordham University, Minerva University, and Concordia University were present. Additionally, Swiss and international institutions like EHL Hospitality Business School, Glion & Les Roches, Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, and Bocconi University participated, showcasing a broad array of academic pathways.
A Collective Effort
This successful event would not have been possible without the dedication of our administrative staff, and student volunteers. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to making this fair an enriching experience for our students.
