This year, primary school early readers have had access to the Reading Eggs application to enable them to consolidate and build on the phonics and reading skills in English that they are learning in school.
A number of children across the age ranges have really excelled and made great progress in their reading completing impressive numbers of online lessons. Today they were rewarded with certificates to mark their committment as the most active users. They have really taken advantage of the online lessons, exercises and games to develop their reading skills and strategies. Well done !
As well as structured reading lessons ranging from early phonics to advanced level comprehension, the application also has a library of over 3,500 levelled reading books.
