As part of the "1000 Researchers in Schools" initiative launched by AFM-Telethon, Dr. Ibrahim El Chérif, a CNRS researcher, visited our secondary school to present on rare genetic diseases and genetic research.
His three presentations, tailored to each age group, covered rare and genetic diseases, research into finding solutions, the drug development process, and various study and career paths in this field.
He also included videos featuring children's testimonies.
Coralie, a volunteer for AFM-Telethon, also gave a presentation about the association and shared stories of young people affected by genetic diseases. Thank you to both of them for their excellent presentations.
