Ship’s Journal by Ms CLARE Thanks to my fellow captains (Ms POET-BENEVENT and Ms CATTAZZO), and enthusiastic young shipmates, we all arrived at our destination ready for adventure, on the exquisite island of Porquerolles. On arrival, the shipmates settled into their barracks with their chosen roommates. The weather was variable, but the morale stayed high. The days were divided between kayaking, nature walks, historical tours of forts and outdoor activities with the guide. Despite their fatigue, students still managed to summon up a surprising amount of energy for the evening activities, which included sports, outdoor games, an original fashion show worthy of the best international catwalks, and a wild end-of-week party! It was an enriching, tiring, exciting, interesting, exhausting, fun, challenging, (did I mention exhausting?) trip. Thank you to the wonderful 6e and 5e students for being so perfect (yes, really).
