CHINESE DAY AT IBS

Every Lunar New Year, no matter how far away from home, almost every Chinese person must go back to celebrate the New Year. During this most important festival in China, Chinese people generally do three things, eat New Year’s Eve dinner together, watch the Spring Festival Gala and let off fireworks. You will see that the most popular decorations in the street, are the lanterns. Although we are not in China, our students who are learning Chinese wanted to share the joy of this period, so they made a lot of lanterns to decorate the yard of our school. This allowed everyone to feel the unique atmosphere of Chinese New Year. There was even Chinese music to really sense the Chinese atmosphere ! Thanks a lot to our students for their enthusiasm!
