From December 9th to 12th, a group of IBS students jetted off to England for a visit of Bath and Bristol. Their trip was charged with cultural and linguistic opportunities such as an Actor’s Workshop ran by the Bristol Film Acting School followed by a delicious tapas meal and then to see the play, Pinocchio.
The next day included a trip to the beautiful Georgian town of Bath where Jane Austen lived including a guided visit of the Jane Austen Centre.
On Saturday, the group explored the SS Great Britain - one of the first transatlantic steamships now docked in Bristol. They then ended the day with a trip to the Bristol Old Vic Theatre to catch a performance of ’Swallows and Amazons’.
Thank you to the IBS trip leaders, Mrs Balandier-Brown, Mrs Lawrence and Mr Castaillac for making the expedition such a success !
