IBS Weather Station

This year IBS is doing a two-month project allowing 6ème students to discover spring changes through the life of four plant species: almond tree, downy oak, false acacia and laurustine. The students are invited to do regular observations of the trees on the IBS grounds and note their findings in their corresponding notebooks. At the end of the term, the observations will be summarised and presented to everyone. The observations will be completed by using the meteorological data of the weather station that was installed at IBS in December 2020 https://app.weathercloud.net/d0213159466 The project will also show the students how mathematical instruments can be used to analyse and represent data, introducing the multidisciplinary approach.
