London Trip - 2nde Pre-IB

Article by Yaël WOLTER, 2nde Pre-IB Student "From the 20-23 of November a trip to London was organised by the school for our 2nde Pre-IB class. After arriving at the Hostel we had dinner and then experienced London during night on a hop-on bus tour. We saw the London-eye, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey. After the bus tour we went to Covent garden and had some free time. The second day started with a walk through Westminster. We then visited Buckingham palace but unfortunately it rained… So we did a tour on the London-eye, followed by the London Dungeon, my personal favourite! In the evening we had the chance to see the “Life of Pi” show. The next morning we visited the British Museum which was very interesting. “Madame Tussaud” was the next activity on our program. It was super cool and so impressive!! In the evening we had some time to spend on our own in Covent garden. At 7:30 pm we watched the show “Wicked” which is similar to the Wizard of Oz. Sadly our last day had come…but before returning to the airport, a rocket boat on the river Thames is the last thing we did. We all enjoyed it and are thankful we were given this opportunity!"
